Wayne Carley oversees the global administration of the AFE headquarters. As the chief executive, he is the primary liaison for all AFE leadership boards, committees, and councils. Being directly responsible to the board and membership, Carley manages policy enactment, governance related matters and operational strategic planning. He ensures that the AFE mission is lived throughout the association including deliverance of the best customer service, programing, and resources you can receive from AFE volunteers and staff . Talisa Thomas-Hall is the primary contact for Regions, Chapters, and member development and relations. She leads member services including benefits development, new member recruitment and ensuring the fulfillment of the “AFE Membership Experience.” Thomas-Hall is the go-to person for answers to your questions about best ways to form new AFE Chapters or how to grow an existing Chapter or Region. Contact her to obtain literature and displays for Chapter events and membership promotions. Thomas-Hall’s responsibilities also encompass leadership development, launching peer networking councils, presenting and producing webinars, and contributing content for the Facilities Engineering Journal.

Jeanine Salifou has overall responsibility for AFE’s Certification programs, including paperwork updates and questions about professional development. She is the person to contact for questions concerning the highly successful CPE, CPMM, CPS, and GOHP Certification programs. She is also responsible for Facilities America, AFE’s annual conference. In addition, she develops webinars, live training, AFE online courses, acts as a liaison with universities and colleges, and develops and maintains speaker lists. As the manager and board member of the AFE Foundation, Salifou implements the strategic goals and objectives toward the achievement of the Foundation’s mission and oversees development and fundraising efforts.
