Crawford Supply opens new showroom Morton Grove, Ill.-based Crawford Supply drew a packed house to the grand opening of its revamped bath and kitchen showroom in mid-April. The new 5,000-sq.-ft. showroom features a wide array of kitchen, bathroom and lighting products displayed in an easy-to-navigate layout. “We opened it up more, added more suites and added more lighting,” Crawford Supply General Manager Chris Semerau told Supply House Times at the gala. “There are more products and everything flows together better.” Among the many eye-catching areas of the showroom is a new steam shower display, complete with typical items one would find in a shower such as shampoo and body wash bottles. The steam shower even has a eucalyptus smell coming from it. “We wanted to make the displays as functional as possible,” Semerau said. Accessories also are abundant among displays. One bath display features a medicine cabinet mirror and many of the suites also offer lighting options. — Mike Miazga Snow and Jones celebrates 60th anniversary Massachusetts-based wholesaler Snow and Jones is celebrating its 60th anniversary as a family-owned business. The company now features nine counter sales divisions and two luxury kitchen and bath showrooms. Snow and Jones is owned and run by brothers David, Barney, and Danny Jones, the sons of founder Robert Jones. The company employs five members of the third generation. The company celebrated the milestone anniversary in early May with a party for employees, customers, vendors, and their families. Plumbers Warehouse debuts new Calif. Location Plumbers Warehouse recently opened its newest location in Downey, Calif. The full-service facility features approximately 10,000 sq. ft. Facility, which features a recently completed addition of 24,000 sq. ft. To house the company’s relocated showroom and distribution center. NSC’s new facility is the first completed building within St. Louis’ 1,500-acre NorthSide Regeneration Project, which drew interest from the local television media. “It’s not often you see a distributor in the construction world featured on the news,” NSC President Lenny Knese said. “At the end of the day though, I see our investment in our new headquarters as a launch pad for the next chapter in fulfilling our mission: to be the leading provider of PVF, commercial plumbing and HVAC products to the construction, maintenance and service professionals in the regions we serve.” Tigre USA opens regional distribution center Tigre USA recently opened a regional distribution center to better serve its PVC pipe fittings customers in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. The Americus, Ga.-based distribution center stocks SDR 35G and SDR 35S Schedule 40 pressure fittings and DWV fittings. In other Tigre USA news, the company recently named Bob Sapienza director of sales and marketing for the North America region and named Tim Johnson marketing and product manager for the North America region. The company also announced the grant of an expanded sales territory to Odum Sales. Previously, Odum Sales represented Tigre’s plumbing line of PVC fittings in Georgia and the Florida Panhandle. The expanded territory will now include the state of Alabama for sales and customer service.
