The Ripple Effect Carpet was installed Dec. 2002 over pad on concrete. Never cleaned – single elderly lady, no pets. Carpet looked fine until a few months ago when it started to ripple. We had a record for rain in July. She said that she empties her dehumidifier daily which is unusual. Carpet on upper floor -20 year old wool over pad on wood subfloor -is also starting to ripple. Used moisture meter and detected no moisture in the concrete, pad or wood subfloor. I’ve seen carpet ripple in high humidity for a few days, but a few months??? Anyone else seen anything like this? – Paul O. Customer Made Me Laugh As I was cleaning this older couple’s house today the lady watched over my shoulder the whole time. I almost started laughing because she was watching so intently. I’ve cleaned for her several times before but I don’t remember her watching quite that closely. I didn’t make a lot of money on that job but it was kind of nice working for them and talking with them. That’s what I love about my job, the people. – Tim H. Where DoWe Find These Customers? Back on Monday I drove about 90 minutes to clean a lounge hall and 3 bedrooms. I gave them the price and they wanted to know how I worked that out so I gave them a room by room breakdown. They decided to only get the lounge done so I cleaned that for $60 and went back home. At least it covered the petrol money. LOL – Eric S. SomeAgitatingQuestions So I have not agitated a lot in my life but have started to listen to some of you agitators (think old dog learning new tricks) and have a few questions. Do some presprays respond better to agitation? Please say which ones you use if you use a different one when you plan to agitate. What is the best way you’ve found to agitate residential type carpet? Some AgitatingQuestions So I have not agitated a lot in my life but have started to listen to some of you agitators (think old dog learning new tricks) and have a few questions.
