Gill has a long record of dedication to the industry, the association said, and served on SMACNA’s board of directors from 1999-2003. “Kevin is a talented and outstanding industry leader,” said Richard Rivera, incom-ing SMACNA president. “We welcome him to the SMACNA executive committee. SMACNA will benefit greatly from his industry knowledge, experi-ence and enthusiasm.” Gill has served as chairman of numerous committees, and is currently chairman of the pension task force and the con-vention committee, offi cer liai-son to the technical resources commit te e, and S M AC N A employee pension plan trustee. He is also on the associate member committee. Active leg-islatively, he is a member of the Congressional Insiders Club and the Political Pacesetters Council.
